Cobham

Cobham is a picturesque ancient settlement village that can be traced back to the Roman times and is today considered one of the country's premier postal codes. Over the years Cobham has become increasingly popular with commuters being just 20 miles from the hustle and bustle of London, and with families who are drawn to the area for the superior schooling that the local schools offer.

Many people move from London to Cobham finding that the village offers all round value for money, tranquil and peaceful residential roads, a community based on traditional values and is the ideal choice for those wanting the countryside lifestyle without compromising ones access to the city.

Cobham is also lucky to have some of the finest countryside on its doorstep with the rolling Surrey Hills just a short drive away, and the 18th century gardens of Painshill also calling Cobham "home".

The village centre has seen many a change over the years but the High Street and surrounding roads still remain the heart of our community. With an ever growing number of shops, services, cafes and restaurants, during the day one can stroll and get everyday items, enjoy a stop at one of the local cafes and feed the ducks by the famous Mill. In the evening, dine at one of the many restaurants that Cobham has to offer with an array of cuisines from around the world to choose from.

For the sportier resident, Cobham is home to many a sport. The Cobham Sports Association on the Fairmile Lane is not only the home of the England Ladies Lacrosse team but also opens its doors to mini and senior rugby, cricket, tennis, netball and fishing! Cobham is also home to the Chelsea FC at their state of the art training ground in Stoke D'Abernon.

Cobham is also highly cultured within the music and arts, being home to the Yehudi Mehnuin School, a specialist music school for the exceptionally gifted musician, as well as the theatre group, The Cobham Players, who perform musicals, dramas, comedies and pantomimes throughout the year.
